Paediatric Emergency Osce

A 3 years old Malay boy with history of admission to ward last year due to cardiac arrhythmia presented to you after being referred by GP.


He has history of fever with URTI symptoms for three days. Today, mother notice that he become restless and have difficulty in breathing.


On examination, he is conscious and alert, developmental milestone are up to age and crying.

  1. Narrow complex tachycardia with absent p wave.
    SVT
    Ice bag on face, carotid massage on one side
    Adenosine
    Cardioversion
