Head Circumference Measurement

Notes:

1) Measure the head circumference just above the ear lobe as it provide the largest diameter of the head.

2) Measurement of head usely be done routinely after the baby was born or everytime the child was bring for scheduled immunization injection.

3) It also being used to monitor the progression of head enlargement in case of hydrocephalus.

4) The serial head circumference will then be plotted in the graph.
